Booking an excursion to Apóstoles offers you a selection of tours tailored for different interests. Every option includes pick-up from your hotel in Posadas at the scheduled time, as well as transport, an English-speaking guide, and a return transfer.

Yerba Mate Tour (5 Hours)

Your exploration of Apóstoles will kick off at the Casa del Mate, the "National Capital of Yerba Mate." Here, you will delve into the roots of Argentine yerba mate, a crucial ingredient for one of the nation's most cherished beverages. This beverage holds significant cultural value for the Ukrainian and Polish communities that settled in the Misiones province during the late 1800s.

Next, we will visit the Juan Szychowski Historical Museum, where the exhibition highlights the history of La Cachuera S.A., Argentina's leading yerba mate exporting company. During your museum visit, you'll observe the harvesting and processing of yerba mate. Those interested can take some time to partake in a tasting of mates and various infusions at the end of the tour, followed by your return to the hotel in Posadas.

Tea Tour (8 Hours)

This tour takes you to the outskirts of Apóstoles, where you’ll visit the La Ruta del Té estate. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to wander through the various tea plantations, while staff members explain the harvesting methods based on tea leaf varieties.

Throughout the tour, we will explore the origins of tea cultivation in Argentina and uncover how this beverage has gained popularity across South America, now ranking among the most consumed infusions worldwide.

In the afternoon, culinary delights created by the chef at La Vieja Fábrica restaurant await you. Conclude your visit with a tasting of diverse teas produced in Misiones. We will then return you to your hotel in Posadas.

This comprehensive tour combines both the tea tour and the yerba mate tour. We will begin with the tea experience, including a tasting session at the La Ruta del Té estate, where you can also sample some local cuisine.
