Experience an exhilarating adrenaline rush as you navigate the steep walls of the Buitre gorge in this thrilling canyoning experience set in the stunning Castril valley.

Canyoning Adventure in Buitre Gorge

We will gather at 9:30 am outside the Asador Romero, conveniently located just 5 kilometers from the main area of Castril. After a brief introduction, participants will take their own vehicles, following the guide who will lead us to the designated starting point.

Shortly after, we will arrive at the Buitre gorge, a captivating section of the Sierra de Castril natural park that enchants adventurers with its picturesque waterfalls and towering walls—ideal for canyoning enthusiasts. Once there, we will equip ourselves with all necessary gear and participate in a short theoretical session to cover essential safety protocols. Then, the real excitement begins!

Throughout the journey, you will embrace your adventurous side by tackling a total of nine rappels, including two that reach almost 100 feet (30 meters) in height! As we dive into this exhilarating experience, you will also appreciate the breathtaking vistas that this natural environment offers.

The return journey is straightforward and brief. We will simply ascend a slope that guides us to a dirt road near our parked vehicles.

We will conclude our canyoning adventure around 12:30 pm at the parking area of the Buitre gorge.
