With your ticket to Tivoli Gardens, you will have the chance to explore this iconic amusement park, established in 1843. Situated in the heart of the city, Tivoli Gardens has entertained visitors for nearly two centuries, making it a significant attraction in Copenhagen.
You can stroll through the beautiful gardens and appreciate a selection of 19th-century attractions that offer unique and enjoyable experiences. Please note that the standard entry ticket grants you access to the park but does not include access to the rides; separate tickets must be purchased on-site for those.
How It Works
Your Tivoli Gardens Ticket provides entry to the amusement park itself, but it does not allow you to ride the attractions directly.
If you wish to enjoy the thrilling rides, you will need to purchase a ticket for each ride at the park or consider getting multi-ride tickets to maximize your experience.
Ride Pass
Choosing a ticket with a Ride Pass allows you to enjoy the attractions at Tivoli Gardens multiple times. Notable rides include the exhilarating "The Demon" rollercoaster, the Golden Tower shuttle, and the classic Ferris Wheel.
Opening Times
During the booking process, a calendar with time slots is displayed; however, you can enter the amusement park at any time during its operating hours, which typically range from 11 am to 10 pm.

The Tivoli Gardens are located at Vesterbrogade, number 3. You must show the ticket at the ticket office to be able to access the park.

Attractions not Included
When you buy your Tivoli Gardens Ticket, you'll only have access to the amusement park; you'll not be able to ride the attractions.
To experience the thrill of the rides, you'll have to buy a specific ticket for the individual ride at the gardens, or you can make the most of the multi-ride tickets.
Important Info
- On Fridays during the Friday Rock event, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (minimum age 25) from 5:30 pm onwards
- The ticket is valid for any day of the year in which you have made the reservation. However, please note that the ticket has a different price during the week and on weekends, make sure you book the correct ticket for your day of choice. If you have booked your ticket for a weekday, you can enter the Tivoli Gardens any day from Monday to Friday. If you have bought the ticket for a Saturday or Sunday, you can only visit the gardens on a weekend day.
