Description

Benfica Stadium, commonly referred to as the Estádio da Luz, stands as one of Lisbon's premier football venues. This self-guided experience allows you to explore the club's rich heritage and gain insights into its museum at your own pace.

Tour Overview

Begin your exploration at Gate 17, located just behind the statue of the legendary footballer Eusébio da Silva Ferreira. Here, your journey through Benfica Stadium will commence. Throughout your visit, you can scan QR codes positioned at key areas of the stadium to access detailed information. Should you require assistance, staff members will be on hand to help.

Your self-directed tour kicks off as you ascend to the first floor, where you’ll find fascinating models showcasing both the old and current iterations of Benfica’s stadium, a cornerstone of Lisbon's football culture. Notably, this club holds the record for the most league titles in Portugal.

As you proceed, you’ll delve deeper into the Estádio da Luz, also known as Benfica's home ground, exploring areas such as the Sagres Court and the NX lounge, along with the changing rooms, the Eagle Room, and the press area.

A highlight of your journey will be the tunnel leading to the pitch, where you can experience a moment reminiscent of the excitement felt by the players just before a match begins. Moreover, you’ll uncover the legacy of various football legends who have graced this field, along with the freedom to spend as much time as you wish in your favorite parts of the stadium!

Your experience can be enhanced with a tour of the Benfica Cosme Damião Museum. This complimentary 90-minute tour showcases the impressive trophies collected by Benfica over the years, including the notable two European Cups secured in 1961 and 1962.
