Express Admission Options

During your booking process, consider the express entry choice, enabling you to bypass waiting lines for building entry and elevator access.

You'll also have the option for an express entrance solely to the 86th floor or a selection that provides queue-free access to the observation deck on the 102nd floor. This elevated vantage point features 24 floor-to-ceiling windows, offering even more astonishing views of the city, and your ascent will be in a panoramic lift.

Operating Hours & Ticket Validity

Your Empire State Building ticket is valid only for the designated date and time agreed upon at the point of booking.

To minimize waiting times, it is advisable to avoid visiting between 12 pm and 2 pm, as well as within one hour before and after sunset.

2026 FIFA World Cup Events

From June 11 to July 19, 2026, Canada, the United States, and Mexico will play host to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In honor of this momentous occasion, special events will be held at the Empire State Building:

Special Illumination

During the group stages of the World Cup, the building will shine in the winning teams’ colors from each match at MetLife Stadium.

Furthermore, it will be illuminated in the colors of the U.S. national team during the tournament.

Historic Soccer Jersey Exhibition

From June 9 to July 19, 2026, a significant display of over 100 historic soccer jerseys will be accessible in the OBS Lobby, located on the second floor, and on the 86th floor.

FIFA Corner

From June 7 to July 19, 2026, the 86th floor will host a special FIFA exhibition dedicated to this significant event.

FIFA World Cup Trophy Distribution

Between June 11 and July 19, 2026, the Empire State Building will offer a limited-edition replica of the FIFA World Cup Trophy to the first 50 visitors with paid tickets who enter the observatory.
