Day Trip Details
Meet your guide in the port of Civitavecchia and board a coach to Rome. The journey lasts a little over an hour, providing scenic views of the province. Upon arrival, the tour visits key attractions including St. Peter's Square, where you can walk in front of St. Peter's Basilica, home to Michelangelo's Pieta.
Other stops include Castel Sant'Angelo, Tiber Island, Cayo Cestio Pyramid, Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, Palatine Hill, Aventine Hill, and the Arch of Constantine. A visit to the Colosseum is included, along with the Roman Forum and Trajan's Column. Nearby sites include Piazza Venezia and the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II.
Additionally, the tour covers the Trevi Fountain, Agrippa Pantheon, and Piazza Navona, all within walking distance. The return to Civitavecchia occurs in the afternoon, ensuring ample time to board the cruise ship.

Important Info
This tour is not suitable for boat passengers departing at 5 pm, specifically for the MSC Divina cruise ship. An exception occurs on June 6, 2025, when passengers of the MSC Divina can partake in this tour as their departure time is at 2:45 pm.

Informazioni importanti
This tour is designed exclusively for cruises. Therefore, the departure time and return time vary depending on the cruise ships' schedules. The bus departs at 9:40 am and returns from Rome at 4 pm.
To arrive at the meeting point, you must take a free shuttle bus that you'll find once you disembark the boat. This will take you to the terminal “Largo della Pace,” where your guide will be waiting for you with a yellow shirt and a Civitatour sign. We'll meet inside, so you will not have to leave.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the bus departs to redeem your voucher.
Important Info
- To access places of worship, your shoulders and knees must be covered.
- During the low season, which runs during December, January, February and March, please note that explanations will be provided by the tour guide on board the bus and headphones will not be required. During the rest of the year, a guide and headphones are provided.
Additional Info
The day trip is not compatible for boat passengers who depart at 5 pm, such as the MSC Divina cruise ship. Please note that this exception will not apply on June 6, 2025. On this specific date, the passengers of the MSC Divina cruise ship can enjoy this tour, as on this date, their boat will depart at 2:245 pm and not at 5 pm as it usually does.
