Your exploration begins at the arranged time, as we gather at your chosen location to enter Sensoria, a vibrant rainforest positioned on the northern slopes of the Rincón de la Vieja volcano.

This enchanting destination, often referred to as the "Land of the Senses," serves as an unspoiled rainforest reserve in Costa Rica, combining relaxation with adventure. Are you prepared to set off on this journey?

Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a refreshing beverage before we commence a 7-kilometer (4.3-mile) trek. This route allows you to admire the wild beauty of the surrounding area, with several stops at waterfalls and natural pools, ideal for a tranquil retreat amid the jungle. Legend has it that these waters may have healing properties.

During your time in Sensoria, our knowledgeable guides will help you identify various flora along the path and look out for the rich wildlife native to the Costa Rican jungle. Keep your eyes peeled for the lively creatures that may appear!

After the hiking expedition concludes, we will proceed to a restaurant within the reserve, where a delightful meal including a main dish and a refreshing drink awaits you. This is the perfect way to round off our adventure.

Your journey will wrap up as we return to where we began.

Pickup and schedules

During the reservation, you’ll have the option to choose among several starting points. If you select the tour with transportation from Guanacaste, refer to the designated meeting locations given during the booking process. Pickup times for this option will vary between 6:50 and 8 am.

Alternatively, should you opt for the tour without transportation, please arrive independently at the entrance of Sensoria, Land of the Senses, by 8:30 am.
