Upon booking, you can select between two tailored experiences. Both options include a convenient hotel pickup in Asunción and a return trip.

Asunción Bay Birdwatching Tour (4 hours)

This brief tour is ideal for those with limited time! We will journey to the Paraguay River, progressing to Asunción Bay and the Banco San Miguel Reserve, where we’ll aim to observe the local avifauna. This river region is rich in biodiversity, serving as a transit point for numerous migratory birds.

Schedule: This tour is available from Monday to Friday, starting at 6 am.

Benjamín Aceval Birdwatching Tour (8 hours)

Our adventure takes us to the town of Benjamín Aceval! After a breakfast stop, we’ll arrive at our destination. We will explore Estancia La Rafaela, where we’ll witness the exceptional variety of birds that inhabit these wetlands and grasslands. Expect to see species such as limpkins, maguari storks, jabirus, Brazilian ducks, herons, and red-billed suiriri flycatchers, among others!

A leisurely lunch at the Hotel-Escuela Cerrito will follow, allowing you to continue enjoying the natural surroundings before we return you to your hotel in Asunción.
