Excursion to Blumenau & Pomerode

Your adventure starts with a hotel pick-up between 8 and 9 am, from where we will embark on a scenic drive along the Itajaí-Açu River, traversing the quaint towns of Ilhota and Gaspar.

The first destination is Blumenau, a city with roots in German immigration that still celebrates its cultural customs. This vibrant town is known for its Oktoberfest, one of Brazil's largest German festivals, inspired by Munich’s iconic celebration.

In Blumenau's city center, we will stop at the historical City Hall, originally a train station, and the impressive Cathedral of St. Paul the Apostle. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Beer Museum and the Beer Garden. These venues house various artifacts showcasing the history and craftsmanship of beer, underscoring its significance in this European valley.

Next, we will venture into the famous Vila Germânica, a renowned venue for events like Oktoberfest. Here, the traditional German architecture will captivate you, filled with souvenir shops, artisan boutiques, and enticing restaurants. This is the perfect spot to take a break for lunch at your leisure before we continue our journey.

Refreshed and ready, we will board our transport towards Pomerode, another town steeped in German culture. We will arrive via the Portal Wolfgang Weege, a striking “triumphal arch” that serves as a popular photo opportunity for visitors.

While in Pomerode, we will visit a charming porcelain shop, a local craft brewery, and the local zoo. You will have time to observe a variety of animals, including lions, hippos, giraffes, and wolves. The final stop of the day will take us to Vila Encantada, where you will be transported back to the age of dinosaurs.

Our excursion concludes with the return to your hotels.

Access to Attractions

• Vila Encantada welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday. If your tour takes place on a Monday, you can spend additional time enjoying the other attractions available.
• The cost of the tour does not cover the entrance fee for Vila Encantada. On the day of your visit, plan to pay approximately 6.60 EUR for an adult ticket, while children under 12, students, and seniors over 60 will pay about 5.50 EUR.
• Additionally, you will need to purchase an entrance ticket for the Pomerode Zoo, with individual adult tickets priced around 8 EUR. Children under 14, students, and seniors over 60 will face a cost of approximately 4 EUR.

Pickup Details

The excursion includes pickup and return transport from hotels located in central Balneario Camboriú. For accommodations outside the designated pickup area, you will need to coordinate a meeting location.
