Description
Immerse yourself in the lush forests of the Pacific coast within the Chiloé Archipelago during this nocturnal hiking adventure in Tepuhueico Park. The celestial display will leave you in awe from the beginning to the end of the experience!
Hike Overview
We will commence our journey at the agreed time, convening at the Lodge Tepuhueico to kick off this after-dark exploration of Tepuhueico Park. Are you ready? Let’s get started!
Our trek promises to be thrilling, as we will observe the diverse wildlife of Isla Grande de Chiloé, including Darwin's fox, the little bush monkey, and the unique pudu. Interestingly, this last species holds the title of the smallest deer globally.
Our hike will have a purpose! In addition to identifying the various creatures, we will focus on interpreting the array of sounds that surround us. Will you be able to distinguish all the night noises? Rest assured, you will be guided on how to recognize them.
We will venture towards the shores of Tepuhueico Lake, where the lake’s surface will mirror the starry night. Prepare to be enchanted!
