Details of the 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Discovering Western Madeira

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Funchal, from where we'll set off in a comfortable minibus to uncover the western side of Madeira. Along the way, we’ll pause to appreciate picturesque villages and stunning natural sights!

The adventure kicks off at Cabo Girão, where a glass viewing platform offers breathtaking views from the cliff’s edge, making it an ideal spot for photography.

Continuing our exploration, we’ll drive through Ribeira Brava, stop at the beautiful Boca da Encumeada viewpoint, and enjoy the vastness of the Paul da Serra plateau.

Our next experience brings us to Madalena do Mar, where you’ll wander through lively banana plantations. Following this, we will visit Fonte do Bispo and Porto Moniz, with time set aside for lunch.

After lunch, we will be captivated by the natural pools of Seixal before heading to the charming village of São Vicente, noted for its delightful chapels and peaceful valley setting.

The day wraps up in Câmara de Lobos, a quaint fishing village known for its colorful boats that adorn the pier. Did you know that this area is renowned for producing the premium Madeira wine?

We’ll head back to Funchal around 5 pm, concluding our day of exploration.

Day 2: Exploring Eastern Madeira

Prepare for another thrilling day! We’ll start by collecting you from your hotel to embark on our second day, visiting the famous Christ the King statue in Garajau, a significant landmark on Madeira's eastern coastline.

Next, we’ll venture to Machico, the second-largest city on the island and its initial capital. Here, you’ll discover its historical sites before we proceed to Ponta de São Lourenço, marking the easternmost point of Madeira.

Continuing our journey, we’ll stop in Porto da Cruz and Santana, where a lunch break of an hour and a half awaits. Refreshed, we’ll make our way to Ribeiro Frio and ascend to Pico do Arieiro, the third-highest peak on the island.

The day concludes as we return to Funchal, arriving at your hotel by 5 pm.
