Advanced PADI Open Water Course

Enhance your diving proficiency with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, where you have the opportunity to select up to three specialty courses.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Overview

After completing the PADI Open Water Course, you are invited to advance your skills and knowledge in diving by enrolling in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

This course entails five dives that correspond to various PADI specialty courses. Among these, two dives are mandatory: deep diving and underwater navigation. You will have the freedom to choose three additional specialties at the diving center from the list below:

• AWARE Fish Identification
• Dive from a Boat
• Drift Diving
• Nitrox Diving
• Buoyancy Control
• Search and Recovery Techniques
• Sidemount Diving
• Underwater Naturalist
• Digital Underwater Photography

Please note that the courses for Nitrox and Sidemount Diving may incur additional fees, which will be specified at the diving center.

Itinerary for Day 1: Core Dives and Specialty

On your first day, transportation will be arranged from your hotel in Koh Samui at 7:30 am. You will board a boat to explore the scenic Gulf of Thailand.

During this day, we will complete three dives: the two required dives and one chosen specialty. For the deep diving specialty, you will reach a maximum depth of 30 meters, learning to manage air pressure and dive duration at these depths.

In the underwater navigation specialty, you will acquire essential skills to navigate effectively using a compass, ensuring you know your location and how to return safely. Are you ready for this adventure?

Following the three dives, we will return to shore and transport you back to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Itinerary for Day 2: Specialty Dives

Your second day will commence similarly, with a pickup at your hotel at the same time. However, this day will involve only two dives instead of three.

Dive sites will be chosen based on your selected specialties. Whether you choose photography, buoyancy control, or fish identification, we promise an unforgettable diving experience. Engaging in these specialties will enhance your understanding and skills in recreational diving.

After completing all activities, we will head back to the diving center, where you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate. You’ll be returned to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Essential Information

To qualify for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, prior completion of the PADI Open Water Diver Course is required.

Meal Inclusion

During the course days, lunch is included. You will enjoy a delectable buffet featuring rice, noodles, salads, fish, and fresh fruit.

Additional Considerations

This activity includes pickup from accommodations located in central Koh Samui. For those staying in the western or southern parts of the island, an additional fee of 800 THB (approximately 26 USD) per person will be charged on the activity day.

Alternatively, you may opt to travel independently to the meeting point.
