Our culinary adventure begins at the designated meeting point in Piazza Garibaldi, where an experienced guide specializing in local dishes will meet us. Together, we will explore the distinctive flavors that embody the cooking heritage of La Spezia, enriched by both Ligurian and regional Tuscan influences.

The journey will unfold in the charming historic quarter of La Spezia, comprising five unique stops where we can indulge in a variety of tastings. Expect to savor delicious finger foods such as farinata (chickpea flour pancakes), sgabei (fried dough pastries), and the essential fried anchovies and squid prepared fresh by local fishermen. Additionally, we will enjoy heartier options like pasta with walnut sauce and mesciua (a hearty soup of grains and legumes).

We will also sample a dish known for its versatility, which varies in name depending on its preparation and ingredients.
