Are you ready to experience the thrill of the ocean and embrace your inner surf champion for a day? Join us for an exhilarating surf lesson where you will master your skills and ride the waves of the Atlantic at the spacious Matosinhos beach.

Activity Overview

Prepare to immerse yourself in the excitement of the waves and become the master of surfing for a day. We will convene at Matosinhos Beach, a stunning locale ideal for catching the Atlantic's surf. Upon arrival, our dedicated team will greet you and equip you with the appropriate gear tailored to your physique and experience level, including a surfboard and a premium wetsuit.

Before jumping into the water, we'll conduct an informative session on the sand. This critical phase will optimize your surfing adventure, teaching you the essential pop-up technique, how to maintain the correct body position to aid your balance, along with fundamental safety advice and guidelines for respecting fellow surfers and the natural environment. This preparatory moment sets the stage for building confidence!

Then, the excitement truly begins. We'll wade into the water for an exhilarating hour of hands-on practice. With our instructor's ongoing assistance, you will learn to paddle effectively, catch your first waves, and enhance your stability in a fun and safe environment. The session's format is dynamic, perfectly aligned with each participant's rhythm.

Once we've embraced the joy of surfing, we will return to our facilities to change attire and discuss the highlights of the day before concluding the adventure.

Available Options

At the time of booking, you can select from the following two choices:

• Session without pickup: this option includes meeting at Matosinhos (Av. Gen. Norton de Matos 369). The total duration for this experience is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• Session with transport from Porto: If you would like a hassle-free experience, this option offers round-trip transportation. We’ll gather at Campo 24 de Agosto in central Porto and travel to the beach. This choice covers transfers and the surfing lesson, with a total duration of around 3 hours.

Schedule of Classes

Surf classes are available twice daily; one session starts at 11:30 am and another at 3 pm. Please note that if you choose the pickup option in Porto, arrangements will commence 30 minutes prior.
