Options for Day Trips

When you make your reservation, you can select from several motorbike outings from Medellín. Each route includes an English-speaking guide, a rented motorbike, and a helmet, commencing promptly from the Medellín location at Carrera 43d #11a-36.

Guatapé Excursion (8 Hours)

We'll depart Medellín at the scheduled time to embark on a motorcycle adventure that showcases one of the most picturesque regions in Antioquia. Our first stop will be a café located in the main square of Marinilla where we can enjoy a cup of coffee.

Following this break, we will proceed to the Rock of Peñol. Although there is an entry fee for this impressive monolith, those interested can opt to climb the 750 steps to the summit, where breathtaking views await!

Next, we will head to Guatapé and indulge in a boat ride on the Peñol reservoir. This experience lasts approximately 35 minutes, after which we will enjoy a traditional meal that includes a starter of soup, a main dish, and juice.

Once we finish, we will explore the vibrant historic center of Guatapé before returning by motorbike back to Medellín.

La Reservita Eco Park Excursion (6 Hours)

On this journey, we'll ride our motorcycles southward towards the town of Caldas. After navigating through stunning forested landscapes, we will arrive at Angelópolis, home of La Reservita Eco Park. Here, we’ll engage in abseiling from three different waterfalls, standing at heights of 8, 15, and 25 meters (26, 49, and 82 feet).

After this exhilarating activity, we will pause for a satisfying lunch featuring rice, potatoes, and your choice of meat or fish, along with juice. Post-meal, we will return to Medellín.

Cocorná Excursion (9 Hours)

We will set off early from Medellín towards the Cocorná viewpoint. Here, enjoy stunning scenery while having a hearty breakfast that includes eggs, arepas, and coffee or hot chocolate.

After breakfast, our motorcycles will take us to the outskirts of Cocorná, where we will visit the Melcocho River Natural Reserve. Here, participants can opt for a horseback riding session and enjoy two hours of leisure time by the crystal-clear river waters.

Next, we’ll visit a riverside restaurant for a comforting lunch that includes soup, a fillet of meat or fish, and juice. After lunch, we'll begin our return journey to Medellín.

2-Day Trip to Cocorná & La Danta

This journey starts at the Cocorná viewpoint for breathtaking views, followed by a delicious breakfast similar to those described earlier. We will ride through beautiful landscapes from Cocorná to La Danta, making a stop at the Pantágaros 2-star hostel or a similar accommodation for a delightful lunch that includes a starter, main course, and juice.

Post-lunch, you'll have the chance to relax in a double room until evening when we’ll gather again for a refreshing dip in the La Danta Waterfalls. After swimming, we’ll return to the hostel for dinner and overnight rest.

The following day, we'll enjoy a wholesome breakfast at the hostel before visiting the La Danta Caves for some caving adventure, followed by a delicious lunch at the hostel.

After the meal, we will head back to Medellín, with an anticipated return around 5 pm.

Activity Requirements

Each motorcycle accommodates a maximum of 2 people: one driver and one passenger. The driver must be at least 20 years old and hold a valid motorcycle driving license. The original driver must remain in that role for the entirety of the excursion.
