Join this excursion to Arashiyama, Kinkakuji, and Nara from Osaka, where you will uncover the rich heritage of Japan’s ancient capital, wander through a mesmerizing bamboo grove, and admire an exquisite golden temple.

Description

We will commence the adventure at Namba OCAT 1F, located within the Osaka City Air Terminal, at the scheduled time. A comfortable air-conditioned bus will transport us to Arashiyama, a charming district on the outskirts of Kyoto known for its distinct landscapes.

After about an hour of travel, we will arrive at our first stop, where a breathtaking bamboo forest awaits exploration. As we walk through the verdant scenery, you will have the opportunity to cross the Togetsukyo Bridge. Have you heard the legends surrounding this site? If not, no worries; we’ll share its stories during our visit!

Feeling hungry? A visit to a local restaurant will provide a chance to enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch, depending on the tour package you selected during the reservation process. Once we feel rejuvenated, our journey will continue to Kinkakuji, the renowned Temple of the Golden Pavilion. Here, a World Heritage Site, we will delve into the mysteries behind its stunning architecture.

Following this, we will proceed to the historic city of Nara, which served as Japan's capital from 710 to 784. As we navigate its storied streets, we will have the opportunity to stop by the famous Nara Park, home to its beloved residents—the deer. You’ll enjoy their friendly nature and may even want to capture a photo with these charming creatures.

Finally, we will return to our starting point in Osaka, completing our journey after approximately 8 hours and 40 minutes.
