Drach Caves Day Trip from South Mallorca
Descripción
Join us on an unforgettable journey through the stunning Drach Caves in southern Mallorca. This tour includes a serene boat ride on an underground lake, a visit to the picturesque Porto Cristo, and an exploration of the fascinating process behind Mallorcan pearls.
Drach Caves Day Trip
Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from a designated location near your hotel in southern Mallorca. From there, we will travel to the charming towns of Manacor and Porto Cristo, located on the eastern shore of the island.
Our primary destination is the renowned Drach Caves, celebrated for their breathtaking beauty and global acclaim. You will descend approximately 1,200 meters (3937 feet) into the caves, where you will marvel at the stunning formations of stalactites and stalagmites.
As we navigate the caverns, we will arrive at Lake Martel, one of the largest subterranean lakes worldwide. Here, you will discover the Moragues Dome, an extraordinary natural amphitheater famed for its remarkable acoustics. Sit back as we enjoy a classical music performance held on the lake, followed by an enchanting gondola ride across the water.
Onboard a quaint wooden boat, you will soak in the atmosphere while enjoying a classical music recital, creating a truly magical moment in this exceptional setting.
Following our cave exploration, we'll proceed to the Perlas Majórica pearl shop and museum to gain insight into the crafting of these renowned pearls, a tradition that has thrived for over a century.
To complete our excursion, we will head to the lovely town of Porto Cristo. You will have one hour to savor the delectable Balearic cuisine before we conclude our tour. After approximately eight hours, we will return to our original departure point in Mallorca.
