For those who thrive on adventure, the Cola de Pato Canyoning Experience offers an unforgettable challenge amidst stunning natural beauty.
Activity Overview
At the scheduled time, a vehicle will collect you from your selected hotel in the El Cibao area. From there, we will embark on a safari ride towards Cola de Pato, the starting point for your exhilarating canyoning journey.
Your adventure will include traversing rocky terrains, swimming in crystal-clear pools, and daring leaps from waterfalls including Las Palomas, Cola de Pato, and La Paja. At noon, a brief pause will allow you to enjoy a snack featuring local specialties like cheese and rodao, a popular biscuit unique to Jamao al Norte.
Following the snack, you will continue your exploration, delving deeper into the lush rainforest. Lunch will be served at 2 PM, featuring a hearty traditional meal to refuel your energy.
After a day full of excitement, we will begin our return journey, arriving back at the pickup point approximately between 6.5 and 10 hours post-departure.

When booking, please choose your preferred pickup location:
- Puerto Plata Tour: pickup at 6:30 AM
- Sosúa Tour: pickup at 8:00 AM
- Cabarete Tour: pickup at 8:30 AM
- Jamao al Norte Tour: pickup at 8:30 AM
- Río San Juan Tour: pickup at 8:30 AM

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at the indicated time from your selected meeting point. Below, we remind you of the pickup times for each point:
- Tour from Puerto Plata: pickup at 6:30 am
- Tour from Sosúa: pickup at 8:00 am
- Tour from Cabarete: pickup at 8:30 am
- Tour from Jamao to the North: pickup at 8:30 am
- Tour from Río San Juan: pickup at 8:30 am
We recommend arriving at your chosen meeting point 10 minutes early.
We also recommend bringing swimwear, a hat, sun cream, water sandals and a change of clothes.
