Are you looking for exciting activities in Sliema? Embark on an adventure through Gozo and Comino, where you will uncover the attractions of these enchanting Maltese islands. Enjoy a relaxing journey aboard a spacious catamaran while taking in the stunning Maltese coastline and participate in a guided tour to highlight the must-see spots of Gozo.

Day Trip to Gozo and Comino

At your selected departure time, we will set sail from either the port of Sliema or Bugibba, depending on your choice. Our voyage will take us northward, cruising past the Blue Lagoon of Comino before arriving at Mgarr Harbour, located on the southern edge of Gozo, where we will disembark.

Upon arrival, we will proceed with a minibus transfer to the Victoria Citadel. Here you will have free time to explore this historical site at your own pace. Afterward, we will return to Mgarr port, where we will sail back to the Blue Lagoon of Comino. You will enjoy 2 hours of leisure time for swimming and snorkeling in the pristine waters.

To conclude our trip, we will return from the Blue Lagoon of Comino to our original departure point.

Pickup Information

During the booking process, you can select from the following departure points on Malta:

Sliema Port: Two departures at 10:00 am. Return to Sliema Harbour is at 5:05 pm or 6:10 pm (from May 10 to October 1); or at 5:40 pm (from October 2 to May 9).
Bugibba Port: Departure at 10:40 am (from October 1 to April 18) or at 11:30 am (from April 19 to October 1). Return is set for 7:30 pm (from May 10 to October 1) or at 5:00 pm (from October 2 to May 9).

Essential Information

Please note that starting May 1, 2025, if you plan to disembark at the Blue Lagoon of Comino, it is necessary to reserve a free entrance ticket via the Government's website (www.blcomino.com) for the afternoon hours. Without this booking, access to the lagoon will be denied. If you prefer to swim in the lagoon or choose to remain onboard, this ticket will not be necessary.

Informações importantes

On the day of the activity, you'll need to go to the meeting point you booked at the following times:

Captain Morgan boat pier located on the Strand, in front of the Sliema Hotel by ST Hotels, 59 The Strand, Sliema.
Bugibba Pier, at Buggiba Jetty (https://maps.app.goo.gl/NxJ5JU1PfKegYBVHA) located in Dawret Il-Gzejjer, San Pawl il-Baħar, Malta.

For each, please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the indicated time.

Departure Times

During the booking process, you can choose between one of the following meeting points on the island of Malta:

Port of Sliema: 2 departures at 10 am. The return to Sliema Harbour is scheduled at 5:05 pm or 6:10 pm (from 10 May to 1 October); or at 5:40 pm (from 2 October to 9 May).
Port of Bugibba: departure at 10:40 am (from 1 October to 18 April) or at 11:30 am (from 19 April to 1 October). Return scheduled at 7:30 pm (from 10 May to 1 October) or at 5 pm (from 2 October to 9 May).

The ferry times between Gozo and Comino can change daily. Due to this, you'll be told the exact time on the same morning of your booking.

Please be ready at least 15 minutes beforehand, if you're late, you will not b refunded.

If you want to take a dip during the excursion, don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towels!

Register to Visit Comino

In order to visit Comino, you'll need to register for free on the Malta Government website: https://blcomino.com/product/blue-lagoon/

It's important that you select the same date as your booking and the afternoon slot.

Please note that you can register up to a maximum of 4 people.

Important

After registration, you'll receive a QR code by email, which you'll need to present on the day of the activity before boarding the ferry from Malta. You won't be allowed to board without this government document, and it will not be possible to request a refund for tickets purchased through Civitatis if the QR code is not presented.
Before disembarking at Comino, government officials will scan the QR code, issue an identification wristband, and you'll then be able to continue your visit.
