Valdivia Guided Exploration

As per the scheduled time, our gathering point will be at the Feria Fluvial along the Valdivia Waterfront. From this central location, we will commence our guided walking tour through the city center. Are you prepared to uncover the charm of the Chilean province of Los Ríos?

Our first destination will be the Plaza de la República. Here, we will delve into the colonial history of Valdivia, exploring its past and its evolution to the present day. Our journey continues as we meander along the banks of the River Callecalle, where we will observe the Schuster Docks and the intriguing Foucault's Pendulum.

Next, we will visit the Yungay Heritage Houses. This area is renowned for its stunning architecture. Are you aware of the intriguing stories behind these structures and the meaning of their name? You will learn all of this and more during our stroll!

Our 2-hour guided exploration of Valdivia will conclude at the Torreón de los Canelos. During this final segment, we will discuss the historical conflict between the native Mapuche people and the Spanish colonizers in this significant region of Chile.
