In 2003, UNESCO designated Úbeda and Baeza as World Heritage Sites. These cities reflect a legacy of over 2000 years along with a diverse architectural heritage. This excursion provides an insightful look into the churches and palaces that showcase the grandeur of Jaén during the Renaissance period.

The guided tours of Úbeda and Baeza each extend for approximately 2.5 hours. These are self-contained tours, conducted from Tuesday to Sunday in the mornings. Please note that there are no tours available on Monday or Sunday afternoons as all monuments are closed for the day. Transportation between the two cities must be managed via personal vehicle.

During our visit to Baeza, we’ll explore the following sites:

• Paseo de la Constitución: where we’ll view the Torre de los Aliatares, the Alhóndiga, and the Balcón del Concejo.
• Ruins of San Francisco, Casa del corregidor, and the historical jail.
• Plaza del Pópulo: passing by the Fuente de los Leones, the Old Butcher's Shops, Public Notaries, the Civil Court, the Jaén Gate, and the Arch of Villalar.
• Barbican.
• Plaza de Santa María: featuring the Conciliar Seminary of San Felipe Neri, the Fountain of Santa María, and the Casas Consistoriales Altas.
• The Cathedral.
• Paseo de Antonio Machado: enjoying views of the Guadalquivir valley, the Sierra Magina, and Sierra de Cazorla.
• Plaza de Santa Cruz: where we’ll enter the Palace of Jabalquinto and the Church of Santa Cruz.

Tour Mechanics

The guided excursions last around 2 hours in Úbeda and 2.5 hours in Baeza. These tours are distinct and can be arranged according to your preferences:

• Tours are conducted daily, except on Mondays and Sunday afternoons when services are not provided.
• When available, there is one tour in the morning and one in the afternoon.
• You have the liberty to determine your schedule: visit both cities in a single day, explore one city in the morning and the other the following day, or choose alternate days, with no obligation to visit them consecutively.

Upon arriving in either Úbeda or Baeza, you will need to redeem your reservation for a physical voucher at the designated meeting point, which we will provide after booking. From here, you can enjoy your guided tours in any order that suits your needs.
