Have you ever experienced the sea and mountains in a single day? Join us on this adventure from Catania, where you will navigate the Etna Nature Preserve in a jeep and indulge in snorkeling amongst the Cyclops Islands.

Etna Jeep Adventure & Snorkeling

The day begins at 8:30 am on Via Provinciale in Catania. Here, we will board an all-terrain vehicle and set off towards the Etna Natural Park. Are you prepared to discover one of Italy's legendary volcanoes?

Throughout the journey, we will alternate between riding in the jeep and embarking on short hikes to delve deeper into the volcanic landscape of Mount Etna, enjoying breathtaking views from various points. We’ll navigate through forested areas, encounter dormant craters, and observe the local wildlife, including species such as foxes, hedgehogs, weasels, porcupines, shrews, and others thriving in this ecological haven.

Afterward, we will head to Lido Aquarius in the charming town of Aci Castello. Here, we will don our snorkeling gear and plunge into the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea. We’ll also swim over to the marine reserve around the Cyclops Islands to marvel at the stunning underwater volcanic formations and the variety of aquatic life.

We will then return to the shore, concluding our tour at the starting point around 4:30 pm.
