Traditional Hindu Wedding
Your special day begins at your hotel, where we will gather at the arranged time. The first highlight will be the traditional bridal preparation. In Hindu culture, each aspect of the ceremony holds significance, and thus, the intricacies of face adornment are paramount.
After this, you will proceed to the temple designated for the ceremony. Here is where the pivotal moment will unfold, as you have the chance to unite in marriage or reaffirm your vows in India while honoring local customs.
Upon arrival at the temple, everything will be arranged: the priest, a beautifully decorated altar for the occasion, and the traditional wedding attire and jewelry that you will don during the ceremony. In accordance with Hindu beliefs, marriage is considered a divine union destined to last for seven lifetimes.
The priest will guide you through each ritual in a ceremonial fashion, infused with mantras invoking the blessings of Lord Vishnu. You will complete the ceremony by circling the sacred fire seven times while taking seven vows.
A photographer will be present throughout the ceremony to create a complete photo documentation of the memorable moments that you will cherish.
After the joy of having celebrated this Hindu ritual, we will return to your hotel.
Symbolic Ceremony, Not Legal
This ceremony serves as a symbolic act and is not recognized as a legal marriage. It aims to spiritually commemorate the couple’s profound love.
Ceremony without Transportation
When you reserve this experience, you have the option for a ceremony without transportation. In this case, after your make-up session at the hotel, you will need to arrange your transportation to the temple for the ceremony.
Language
The rituals will be conducted in the local dialect, with mantras recited in Sanskrit. However, an interpreter will be available throughout to provide explanations in English.
