Activity Details

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel in Aguascalientes and begin our excursion towards the Museum of the Insurgency, situated in the Pabellón de Hidalgo within Rincón de Romos. Our journey will take roughly 30 minutes to reach this notable site devoted to the narrative of the Mexican War of Independence.

Once there, enjoy a 1.5-hour guided exploration of the exhibition areas filled with artifacts, documents, and narratives that will immerse you in one of Mexico’s pivotal historical periods. An interesting fact: this museum is housed in a building historically linked to the insurgent movements.

Following our historical immersion, we will proceed to the Hacienda Garabato, a remarkable architectural gem from the 17th century. Here, our 1-hour tour will reveal its significance in shaping agriculture and livestock practices in the area, as well as uncovering the mysteries locked within its ancient rooms and tranquil courtyards.

Our adventure continues at a local vineyard that lies along the renowned wine route. During the visit, we will explore the enchanting world of wine with a tasting of three distinct wines. A knowledgeable expert will guide us through the subtleties, fragrances, and flavors of these fine selections, creating a delightful experience for all your senses!

After the tasting session, you will have some leisure time for lunch before we return to Aguascalientes. At the conclusion of our excursion, you will be taken back to your hotel, wrapping up a total of 7 enriching hours.
