If you're eager to explore the Grand Canyon of Oman, our meeting point will be at the Cliff Café in Al Hamra. There, a concise safety briefing will be conducted to ensure you are well-prepared. Once we have equipped ourselves with the necessary gear, our adventure will truly begin.

We will embark on a hike along the renowned Balcony Walk, tracing the rim of Wadi Ghul. To our right, a spectacular drop will unveil itself, resembling an infinite gorge. As we proceed, we will navigate this 4 kilometer (2.5 mile) path with caution, encountering new vistas of dramatic slopes and towering cliffs at every bend.

As we continue, we will arrive at Sab Bani Khamis, a deserted village that provides a glimpse into the lives of families over seven decades ago. Here, among the rugged stone walls, we’ll pause at a secluded lake—a refreshing oasis that will prepare us both physically and mentally for the main challenge ahead. Are you up for it?

The climax of our journey will be the Jebel Shams via ferrata, marking the most dynamic and demanding phase of our outing. We will ascend its 200 meter (656 foot) vertical face, utilizing steel cables and rungs firmly placed in the rock.
