This day excursion invites you to immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of the Seven Hanging Valleys Trails, featuring illustrious spots such as Algar Seco, Benagil Cave, and Praia da Marinha.

Day Trip Overview

At the agreed time, your journey will commence with a pick-up from your accommodation in Albufeira. A scenic 40-minute drive will bring us to one of the Algarve's most remarkable locations: Algar Seco. Let the adventure begin!

Upon our arrival, you will be greeted by the mesmerizing landforms sculpted by oceanic and aerial forces, highlighted by enchanting natural pools and concealed caves. Among these wonders, the Gruta da Boneca, often referred to as the "Window to the Sea," stands out, offering a breathtaking view framing the vibrant turquoise hues of the Atlantic. This spot provides an ideal backdrop for your photographs!

After about 45 minutes at Algar Seco, we will journey towards Benagil, a mere 15 minutes away, known for its popularity along the Portuguese coastline. From our elevated vantage point, you'll gaze upon the Benagil Cave, where sunlight streams through its top opening, creating a spectacular light show of ocher tones within. Although we won't explore the interior of this magnificent cave, the views from above are sure to leave you in awe. Did you know that its formation is over 20 million years old?

Following a 45-minute exploration here, we'll proceed to the Seven Hanging Valleys Trails, a breathtaking 2.17-mile (3.5 km) path celebrated for its stunning vistas. Expect to be surrounded by towering cliffs, natural arches, secret coves, and rich vegetation, filling the air with a salty sea breeze.

Your journey will culminate at Praia da Marinha, often rated among the world's most exquisite beaches and one of Europe’s best-kept gems. Here, flanked by azure waters and striking rock formations, you will have between 45 minutes to 1 hour of leisure time to unwind, delve further into the surroundings, or simply admire the magnificence of the views, perhaps even enjoying a swim.

As our day winds down, we will return to your hotel after approximately 5 to 5.5 hours, marking the end of this memorable adventure.
