Alicante to Tabarca Island Ferry
Set sail from Alicante's port at your preferred time towards the island of Tabarca, a favorite destination among visitors to the Costa Blanca.
During the one-hour ferry ride, you will have the chance to admire the underwater view from the vessel (subject to availability, as not all ferries are equipped with this view). This area of the Mediterranean boasts a stunning array of biodiversity, allowing you to glimpse various fish species native to the region.
Upon arriving at Tabarca, you will have the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. You can choose to return to Alicante later in the afternoon via the same or a different ferry service on a subsequent day.
What to Do on Tabarca Island?
As the largest island in the Valencian Community, Tabarca offers a serene environment, perfect for enjoying the gentle Mediterranean breeze without the hustle and bustle of large crowds, home to around 60 residents.
A stroll through the village streets located at the western end is highly recommended, where you can visit the church of San Pedro and San Pablo. Additionally, the Museum of Nueva Tabarca is worth a visit, showcasing a collection of archaeological artifacts from this Mediterranean locale.
To satisfy your culinary cravings, sampling the delicious lobster rice dishes in local eateries is a must. If you're in the mood for a walk, consider heading to the easternmost part of the island to see the iconic Tabarca lighthouse.
