Activity Overview
On the day of your adventure, we will gather at the Fiskerihavna, the fishing port located in Alta, at the designated time. This refreshing outing offers a chance to escape the daily grind and immerse yourself in nature.
After a brief safety briefing and equipment distribution, we will embark onto the tranquil waters of the Altafjord. One of the perks of fishing in a fjord is the serene environment, allowing you to unwind while enjoying the thrill of fishing!
Throughout the trip, you’ll have the opportunity to catch various native fish, including cod, coalfish, haddock, redfish, and Atlantic halibut, among others. Our crew is also happy to accommodate any specific requirements you may have regarding fishing gear. Feel free to bring your own tackle if preferred.
Experience the joy of catching your own meal! Any fish you choose to keep can be gutted and prepared by the onboard captain for a delightful dinner later. Light snacks, along with tea, coffee, and water, will also be provided during this fishing trip. Enjoy the experience!
After approximately 2 hours of fishing fun, we'll return to our starting point to conclude this remarkable adventure on the Alta Fjord. Vi sees snart!

Important information
On the day of the activity, please be at the following meeting point at the scheduled time: Fiskerihavna (fishing harbour) Alta 9515, Finnmark, NO, Norway. Please arrive at least 30 minutes beforehand.

We recommend bringing with you: woollen underwear as the first layer, a fleece jacket, a woollen sweater, a middle layer jacket, headwear, mittens, boots or insulated shoes.
Important
If needs be you can borrow boots, woollen socks, mittens and headwear.
Alcohol is strictly forbidden onboard the boat.
If you have your own fishing equipment, feel free to bring it with you on the day. Fishing equipment is not included in this tour but can be rented if needed.
Please keep in mind that this activity is subject to the weather conditions. If the safety of the crew and guests cannot be guaranteed the activity will be cancelled. With this, we offer flexible options such as postponing the tour to the following day, switching to a different tour, or refunding the tour.
