Day 1: Arrival at Alter do Chão - Canal do Jari - Return to Alter do Chão

The journey begins with a gathering at the Ocazum Inn. Once assembled, we will set out to discover the lush areas known as the backcountry of the Vitórias Régias. This spectacular location within the Brazilian Amazon greets us with captivating scenery during our boat excursion.

As we navigate the Tapajós River, we will take in its pristine white sandy beaches until we arrive at the Canal do Jari. A delightful lunch featuring regional flavors of Pará will be provided during our voyage.

After our water adventure, we will sail back to Alter do Chão, arriving just in time to witness the enchanting sunset. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy dinner independently and unwind.

Day 2: Alter do Chão - Journey to Maguari

Following breakfast, we will head to the port to board a boat bound for the finest beaches of Alter do Chão.

Depending on the weather conditions, we will make landfall at either Ponta do Cururu or Ponta Verde beach. While en route, we will savor a delightful lunch on board, taking in the spectacular vistas of the Amazon region. Next, we will continue our journey to the Maguari community, nestled alongside the Tapajós River.

Upon arrival, we will check into an inn, and once settled, we'll make our way to the beach for an unforgettable dinner accompanied by the refreshing sea breeze. The evening will be yours to relax before the next day’s adventures.

Day 3: Discovering Maguari

Get ready to delve into the wonders of the Tapajós National Forest while learning about the tallest tree in the area. After enjoying a robust breakfast at the lodge, we will journey into the Amazonian forest of Maguari.

Our exploration will include a hike along the Vovozona trail, which leads through an untouched forest, where we can marvel at a magnificent 45-meter (147 ft) tall ceiba tree. It’s so expansive that it takes approximately 20 people to encircle its trunk!

Following our hike, we will return to the Maguari community to enjoy an authentic local meal at Dona Maria's house. Later in the day, we will relax at the beach, witnessing the beautiful sunset, and as night approaches, we’ll gather to dance to the lively rhythms of the carimbó.

Our evening culminates with a satisfying dinner around a bonfire on the beach, and we will retreat to the lodge for rest.

Day 4: Maguari - Departure to Santarém International Airport

After breakfast, we will participate in a craft workshop utilizing forest seeds. Once the workshop concludes, we will return to Santarém International Airport, with an arrival time expected around midday.
