Your adventure begins with a one-hour bus journey from your accommodations in Alto Paraíso de Goiás to the river's launch point. Before embarking on your rafting journey, you'll enjoy a hearty breakfast featuring coffee and sandwiches.
Once you've refueled, your knowledgeable guide will provide essential insights into rafting techniques and safety measures, ensuring you're prepared for an exhilarating day ahead on the Tocantinzinho River. Over the course of 8 hours, you will navigate a total of 30 kilometers (18.9 miles), punctuated by several breaks along the route.
The adventure kicks off near Praia dos Ipês, where you will flow downstream, discovering two remarkable canyons formed by the river. The journey boasts a diverse array of rafting levels, ranging from exciting torrents to tranquil stretches that allow you to soak in the surrounding natural beauty.
The trip culminates at a third canyon, where you will safely stow your rafting equipment. Here, a well-deserved lunch awaits, comprised of rice, beans, fresh salad, vegetables, and either meat or fish—a wonderful way to replenish your energy after a morning filled with action.
After enjoying your meal and taking a moment to relax, you’ll proceed upstream, culminating in the breathtaking view of the sunset over the Chapada dos Veadeiros. This iconic sunset will surely leave a lasting impression.
Conclude your day with a peaceful bus ride back to your accommodations in Alto Paraíso de Goiás.

Pickup at 6 am from Hotel Alto Paraíso de Goiás Please arrive 10 minutes before pickup time.
Requirements and restrictions: the weight limit for this activity is 100 kg (200 lbs). It is required to be in good physical condition. Pregnant women, anyone who has had a recent surgery, has heart problems or previous back injuries is unable to participate in the tour.
Equipment: proper clothing and shoes are required; no exposed skin, long sleeves and pants, shoes that can get wet.
