Day 1: Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Shoubak – Petra

Beginning with your hotel pickup in Amman, we will travel south to Madaba, where you will encounter St. George's Orthodox Church. This historic Byzantine structure houses the Madaba Mosaic Map, recognized as the oldest existing cartographic representation of the Holy Land and Jerusalem.

Next, we will ascend to Mount Nebo, an impressive ridge providing breathtaking views of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. According to biblical tradition, this is the vantage point where Moses first beheld the Promised Land.

Continuing our journey, we will stop at Shoubak, also known as Montreal, home to a Crusader castle nestled in the Arabah Valley. Together with our knowledgeable guide, we will explore this medieval stronghold and uncover its intriguing history and legends.

Our day concludes in Petra, where we will enjoy a hearty dinner at our hotel and rest for the night.

Day 2: Petra

After a fulfilling breakfast at our Petra accommodation, we will dedicate the entire day to uncovering the marvels of one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the Middle East. Through our guided exploration of Petra, we will delve into the grandeur and eventual fall of the ancient Nabatean capital.

The adventure begins with a brief horseback ride, leading us to the Obelisk Tomb, a funerary monument rich with tales and mysteries. Following this, we will traverse the breathtaking Siq Gorge, a natural canyon that stretches nearly a mile and guides us directly to the iconic façade of the Treasury of Petra, known as Al Khazneh. The intricate rock-carved architecture of this mausoleum, with its magnificent columns and sculptures, will leave you spellbound.

After a day of discovery, we will return to our Petra hotel for dinner and a restful evening.

Day 3: Petra – Little Petra – Wadi Rum – Amman

Following a substantial breakfast, we will embark on our final day of exploration, first stopping at Little Petra. This smaller archaeological site showcases tombs, dwellings, and numerous structures from the era of the Nabateans.

Once we conclude our visit to Little Petra, we will venture further south to experience an exhilarating 4x4 Jeep tour of Wadi Rum. This high-adrenaline ride, lasting two hours, will allow us to navigate through the stunning arid landscapes of the region, revealing the magnificent natural rock formations and brilliant hues of the desert.

As our unforgettable three-day journey comes to a close, we will make our way back to Amman.

Accommodation

This three-day tour includes two nights of half-board accommodation in Petra, featuring breakfast and dinner. You will have the option to select between 4-star or 5-star hotels. The anticipated accommodations are as follows:

• 4-star hotel: Petra Panorama Hotel or similar
• 5-star hotel: The Old Village or similar

Note on Prices

The listed price is per person based on double occupancy. A supplemental fee applies for single-room bookings, which varies by hotel category and season.

Children under three years can join free of charge, while those aged 3 to 10 will receive a 50% discount on the adult rate if sharing a room with parents. Children over ten years of age must pay the full adult price.

Meals

Your two-night stay includes breakfast and buffet dinners at the hotels. Any additional meals will need to be paid for separately.

Pickup

Upon booking, you will need to specify the hotel in Amman for your pickup.

Visas

All visitors must acquire a visa to enter Jordan. These can be obtained upon arrival at the airport or at many land borders. Visa fees are not included in the tour price.
