Your experience begins at De Ruijterkade Oost in Amsterdam, where we will gather at the scheduled time before departing on a bus ride lasting approximately 1.5 hours towards the regions of Bolduque and Vught. Here, we will step into the past and encounter the historical significance of the Holocaust at the Herzogenbusch Concentration Camp.
Commonly referred to as Camp Vught, this site operated from January 1943 until September 1944, housing around 31,000 prisoners. You will be provided with an audio guide in English that will enhance your understanding as you explore the camp's facilities, including the barracks, watchtower, and crematorium.
The excursion also grants you entry to the museum and the national memorial, where you can pay your respects to the names of those who perished within the camp.
Your tour concludes back at the initial meeting point after a duration of 6 hours.

To get to the meeting point, you'll have to go to Amsterdam Centraal station. When you reach the back of the station, take exit IJ on your right and walk 820 ft (250 meters) towards the dock area until you reach Aloha cafe. Next to this café, at De Ruijterkade 151, the ship's staff will be waiting for you, which you can identify by this logo:

In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the tour may be canceled or its itinerary modified.
The tour is not suitable for children under 3 years old. Children from 3 to 12 years old can do the tour, although it's not recommended for children under 10 years old.
