Our journey begins at 8 am at De Ruijterkade Oost in Amsterdam, where we will embark on a one-hour drive towards one of the Netherlands' pristine natural reserves: De Hoge Veluwe National Park.
As we delve into this breathtaking landscape, situated within the expansive wooded region of Veluwe, a guided tour will reveal its rich biodiversity. Expect to encounter an array of wildlife, including wild boar, deer, mouflons, wolves, and more. Additionally, our guide will share fascinating insights regarding the park’s plant life, showcasing hundreds of species that thrive in this vibrant ecosystem.
Your adventure includes an opportunity for a 2-hour break, perfect for recharging or taking in the renowned Kröller-Müller Museum, one of the park’s premier attractions. With your admission ticket, you can view the world’s second-largest Van Gogh collection. For those seeking a more active experience, you may opt for a biking excursion within the park’s picturesque terrains.
The expedition concludes with our return to the original meeting point, expected around 2 pm.
Museums
Inside the De Hoge Veluwe National Park, visitors will find two notable museums: the Kröller-Müller Museum, featuring Van Gogh's impressive collection, and the Jachthuis Sint Hubertus, a historic country house crafted by the famous Dutch architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage.
If you prefer to spend time at one of these cultural institutions rather than participating in the nature tour, please inform the driver on the day of the trip, and we can drop you off at no additional charge.

The meeting point is next to the ALOHA café (at the River Cruises Docks). It’s in the center of Amsterdam, right behind the Central Train Station. To get there take the IJ exit at Central Station and turn right. The River Cruises Docks are located on your left after approximately 250 meters (800 feet). A host from Dutch Tours will be there to welcome you! You'll recognize them with the following logo:
