The museum operates daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
Canal Cruise
Use your voucher to access a ticket for a delightful canal cruise in Amsterdam. The cruise route corresponds to that of the separate canal tour. Throughout the journey, you will discover the city’s landmarks while listening to fascinating stories and insights via the English audio guide.
Boats set sail every 30 minutes from 10 am to 8 pm. To ensure a specific time for your cruise, it is advisable to visit one of the Tours & Tickets locations (such as the one at Damrak 26) or any of the boat boarding sites to make a reservation beforehand.
Operational Details
Rijksmuseum Admission
Upon making your reservation, you will be prompted to choose a date and a designated time to visit the Rijksmuseum, situated at 1 Museumstraat in Amsterdam. Upon arrival, proceed to the line for pre-booked tickets, where staff will request to see the booking voucher on your mobile device, allowing you to skip the entry queue.
Canal Cruise
The indicated time pertains to your entry into the Rijksmuseum. You are welcome to take the canal cruise at any available time during your visit. Boats depart from the pier located at Prins Hendrikkade 25, conveniently in front of Amsterdam Central Station.
Please be aware that the availability of this experience is contingent on the day of your visit.
Audio Guides
During your canal cruise, an audio guide will be available in Spanish, English, Italian, French, and Portuguese. Note that this audio guide is not available at the Rijksmuseum.

Important information
Rijksmuseum
You'll need to visit the museum on the day and within the time slot you selected when you booked. The address is: 1 Museumstraat. The nearest metro stop is Vijzelgracht, on line 52 (the blue line).
At the museum, head to the pre-sold tickets lane, where the museum staff will ask you to show your booking voucher on your mobile phone. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early.
Canal Cruise
To take the boat ride on the canals, you'll need to go to the Tours & Tickets store (26 Damrak) to show the voucher barcode and exchange it for the boat ticket. You can choose any of the available schedules for the same day.
30 minutes before boarding time, head to the quay at 25 Prins Hendrikkade, next to the Westelijke Toegangsbrug (just a few metres from Amsterdam Centraal station).
The boats leave every 30 minutes between 10 am and 8 pm. To secure a specific time slot, we recommend stopping by one of the Tours & Tickets shops (like the one at Damrak 26) or visiting any of the boat departure points to book in advance.
