Van Gogh Museum & Canal Cruise
Description
When visiting Amsterdam, there are two essential activities that you simply cannot miss: exploring the Van Gogh Museum and embarking on a canal cruise through this stunning city, often referred to as the Venice of the North.
Activity Overview
The Van Gogh Museum stands out as one of the premier art institutions in the Netherlands. With this ticket, you gain access to the largest collection of Van Gogh's masterpieces globally. Within its walls, you'll encounter renowned works by Vincent van Gogh, such as Sunflowers, Bedroom in Arles, The Potato Eaters, and Self-Portrait as a Painter.
Canal Cruise Experience
This ticket also allows you to take advantage of one of the city's must-see attractions. A visit to Amsterdam is incomplete without a scenic cruise through its iconic canals. Did you know the city boasts more than 62 miles (100 km) of waterways?
As you soak in the breathtaking scenery, listen to an audio guide in English that shares insights about the city's rich history. The duration of the canal cruise is approximately 1 hour.

Important information
Van Gogh Museum
Your reservation for the Van Gogh Museum is only valid for the time and date that you booked. You should make your own way to the museum, located at Museumplein 6. The nearest metro stop, a ten-minute walk from the museum, is Vijzelgracht. This station is on line 52 (the blue line).
At the museum, you'll have to go to the pre-sold tickets lane. There, the museum staff will ask you to show your booking voucher on your mobile phone. We recommend being there 15 minutes before the time you've chosen.
We recommend checking the museum's opening hours on its official website, as they may vary depending on the season.
Canal Cruise
To take the boat ride on the canals, you must go to the Tours & Tickets store (Damrak 26) to show the voucher barcode and exchange it for the boat ticket. You can choose any of the available schedules for the same day.
You'll need to arrive at the quay at Prins Hendrikkade 25, next to the Westelijke Toegangsbrug (very close to Amsterdam Central station) 30 minutes before boarding time. Please bear in mind that the walk between the Van Gogh Museum and the quay takes around 35 minutes.
The boats leave every 15 minutes between 10 am and 9 pm. To have the cruise at a specific time, we recommend heading to the Tours & Tickets stores (like Damrak 26) or any of the boat departure points to book it in advance.
