At the scheduled time, the private walking tour of Arcachon will commence from the Tourism Office. Get ready to explore one of the most stunning cities in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

Arcachon is particularly renowned for the Dune of Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe, soaring to a height of 115 m (377 ft). Although we will not visit the dune, located just outside the town, we will discuss its remarkable landscapes while strolling through the historic old town.

The town is divided into four districts: the summer town, located centrally; the winter town, famous for its elegant 19th-century villas; the autumn town, home to the harbour; and the spring town, where the beaches are found.

During the tour, we will explore the summer town and the old town, where we will view the distinguished exterior of the Casino d'Arcachon. We will also make a stop by the Place des Marquises, adjacent to the Town Hall.

Our journey will take us to Mauresque Park, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of Arcachon. After soaking in the scenery, we'll appreciate the 19th-century mansions of the winter town.
