Timanfaya & The Jameos del Agua Experience
Commencing with your hotel pickup, our adventure through Lanzarote begins in the island's western region.
The initial stop will be at El Golfo, known for its striking volcanic formation. Here, you will encounter the Charco de los Clicos, affectionately dubbed "The Green Lake", where the vibrant hue is attributed to the presence of algae and sulfur in the waters. This extraordinary site caught the attention of filmmaker Pedro Almodovar, featuring in the iconic Spanish film "Los Abrazos Rotos" (Broken Embraces) starring Penelope Cruz.
Next, we will proceed to the Timanfaya National Park. As we traverse its otherworldly landscape, we will marvel at the volcanic craters. The sheer power of nature in this area is palpable, which we will demonstrate with engaging showcases of the park's geysers. For those interested, there is an optional camel ride available for an additional fee on the tour day.
After exploring the park, we will travel to Mancha Blanca, where you can enjoy free time for lunch at a traditional Canarian eatery. Be sure not to miss the Iglesia de los Dolores, home to the island's patron saint. Following our meal, we will meander through charming villages before heading north to witness the scenic Valle de las Mil Palmeras and the town of Haría.
Our journey continues with a brief visit to a wine cellar in La Geria, providing an opportunity to taste Lanzarote's renowned wines for those who wish.
As we draw closer to the tour's peak, we will enjoy one of the masterpieces by the celebrated artist and architect César Manrique. Our visit to the Jameos del Agua will allow us to experience this unique venue formed within a volcanic tunnel, offering an amalgamation of auditorium, restaurant, and swimming pool. This enchanting natural environment includes a lake that serves as a habitat for the tiny blind crabs.
Following our exploration of the Jameos del Agua, we will return to the hotel regions, wrapping up this enriching day trip 8 to 10 hours after your initial pickup.

This tour provides pickup from several locations:
- Costa Teguise: pickup between 8 am and 8:25 am, arriving around 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, depending on the chosen option
- Arrecife: pickup at 8:30 am, with an expected arrival between 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm, based on the selected option
- Playa Honda: pickup at 8:30 am, arriving between 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm, depending on the selected itinerary
- Puerto del Carmen: pickup from 8:45 am to 9:15 am, with arrival estimated between 3 pm and 5 pm, based on the option chosen
- Puerto Calero: pickup at 9:20 am, arriving around 3:15 pm to 5:10 pm, according to your selected option
- Playa Blanca: pickup between 8:20 am and 9:30 am, expected arrival between 2:30 pm to 5:45 pm, depending on the chosen itinerary
Upon reservation, a map indicating the nearest pickup point to your accommodation will be provided.

Important information
Before the tour, the local supplier will email you a document with a Google Maps link to the meeting point. You do not need to print this document. You can carry it on your mobile phone. Before boarding the bus, you must present this document along with your Civitatis reservation (which you can also carry on your mobile phone). The guide will pick you up from the indicated pickup points at the following times:

Please be there at least 15 minutes before the pickup time.
The bus will have a sign with the "LOW COST TOURS" name in the window.
Important Info
In some areas of the island, phone service may be limited, so we recommend that you carry cash in case card payment is not available.
Please note that the camel ride is optional and the price isn't included. Lunch is also not included.
