Perched on a cliff above one of the temporary Mulberry harbours created by Allied forces, the Arromanches 360 complex boasts an impressive circular cinema.

Within its nine screens arranged around 360 degrees, you will witness a 20-minute film that details the Battle of Normandy. Commencing on June 6, 1944, this military campaign emerged as one of the most crucial and transformative operations of the Second World War.

Your visit will begin in the circular cinema's reception area, which features a small exhibition displaying maps, a timeline of events, and various informative panels focused on this significant historical episode. Artifacts from the British army, courtesy of the Mémorial de Caen museum, are also showcased here.

As the projection unfolds, you will be presented with authentic footage from British, Canadian, German, American, and French military archives. Besides the landing scenes, the film also covers somber events such as the devastating bombings of Le Havre that occurred between September 5 and 12, 1944.

The Battle of Normandy transpired over a significant span of 100 days, shaping the course of history. This screening will take you through the crucial moments that defined this pivotal time.

• January 26 to March 31: open daily from 10 am to 5 pm
• April 1 to August 31: open daily from 10 am to 6 pm
• September 1 to 30: open daily from 10 am to 5:30 pm
• October 1 to 15: open daily from 10 am to 5 pm
• October 16 to 31: open daily from 10 am to 5:30 pm
• November 1 to December 31: open daily from 10 am to 5 pm

Please be aware that the Arromanches 360 will be closed on specific dates:
