6-Day Safari in Northern Tanzania

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival, our team will greet you at the airport and transport you to your comfortable hotel in Arusha via an air-conditioned vehicle. Take this time to settle in and relax as you soak in the views of the surrounding African wildlife.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Begin your day with a fulfilling breakfast at the hotel, followed by a short briefing with your guides, who will outline your safari itinerary. Afterward, we will embark on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, notable for its large population of majestic African elephants.

While exploring Tarangire in our safari vehicle, you'll witness the breathtaking sight of elephants wandering amidst ancient baobab trees. These unique giants can soar up to thirty meters (98 feet) high, embodying the true spirit of Africa! Following our adventures, we will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti

As dawn breaks over Tarangire, we'll enjoy breakfast while admiring the natural beauty around us before hopping into our jeep. Exciting driving games will be played to get your adrenaline pumping before we set off towards the iconic Serengeti.

During this day, we will seek out the secretive African wildebeest, a migratory creature tirelessly traveling in search of water across the savannah. Learn about this fascinating species before heading to a local hotel for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

On the fourth morning, we will rise early to traverse the African plains, heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we will visit Odulpai Gorge, an essential archaeological site revealing human remains dating back two million years!

A lunch break near Odulpai Gorge will follow, after which we will continue our exploration of Ngorongoro, looking for giraffes, leopards, and other wildlife. We'll then retreat to our hotel for some well-deserved relaxation, dinner, and overnight accommodations.

Day 5: Ngorongoro to Arusha

Our final safari day will involve a tour of Ngorongoro Park. We will descend into the crater floor to indulge in a picnic near the Lerai forest, with an opportunity to observe hippos lounging in a nearby lake.

We’ll also search for the rare black rhino that inhabits this part of Tanzania. As day turns to dusk, we'll make our way back to the hotel in Arusha, where you can unwind and enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 6: Departure from Arusha

After breakfast and collecting your luggage, it's time to bid farewell to the stunning African savannah as we transport you to the airport, concluding your safari experience.

Days 1 & 5 - Arusha: Maura Apartments & Lodges.

Day 2 - Tarangire National Park: Nsya Lodge.

Days 3 & 4 - Serengeti: Golden Safari Camp.

Extend Your Adventure: 2 Days in Zanzibar

You can enhance your safari experience by adding two days in Zanzibar during your booking. This option allows you to unwind in the tranquil atmosphere of Stone Town, the island's vibrant capital, after six thrilling days.

We'll arrange your transport from Arusha to the airport, where you'll catch a flight to this beautiful island. Take advantage of the sun-soaked beaches, the picturesque sea, and the chance to explore the historic district, the oldest in Eastern Africa, celebrating its rich cultural amalgamation along the streets! You can also visit the famed House of Wonders, the sultan's historic residence, and the Arab fort.

After two rejuvenating days, we will drive you back to Zanzibar airport for your onward flight to Dar-es-Salaam or Kilimanjaro airport.
