Your adventure begins at the cruise port of Ashdod, where a dedicated guide will be ready to greet you as your ship arrives. From here, we will board our transport and journey towards Masada National Park, situated along the southwestern shores of the Dead Sea.

Following a scenic two-hour drive, we will reach a cable car station. Here, you will board a tram that will carry you up to the Masada plateau, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Our ascent will take us to 434 meters (1423 feet) above sea level, where a guided tour of King Herod's palace/fortress awaits—part of a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

During our exploration, we will discover the archaeological site, examining its ancient mosaics, cellars, and bathhouse, all of which hold significant historical importance. Additionally, a visit to the Masada Museum will provide insights into the rich history of this remarkable location and the Roman siege it famously endured.

Next, we will make our way to Ein Bokek beach, located along the shores of the Dead Sea. Here, you will be granted two hours of leisure time for lunch and the chance to experience the extraordinary salt lake, positioned over 300 meters (984 feet) below sea level. You’ll be amazed at how simple it is to float in its waters, offering a truly surreal sensation!

During your time at the Dead Sea, you can also collect some of the natural exfoliating clay to use as a revitalizing face mask. Its antioxidant-rich properties will leave your skin feeling refreshed and incredibly smooth.

Concluding our day, we’ll board the bus for the return journey to Ashdod, wrapping up this enriching nine-hour tour.
