Iguazú Falls & Itaipú Dam Excursion

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Asunción at the scheduled time, followed by a bus ride to Ciudad del Este.

Upon our arrival in Ciudad del Este, we will take a brief pause for breakfast before resuming our journey. Next, we will reach the Itaipú Dam, previously the largest hydroelectric facility worldwide until 2011. During our visit, you'll gain insights into its significance and impact on environmental conservation in both Paraguay and Brazil.

Once we finish our tour of this modern marvel, we'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will embark on a short journey of about an hour and a half to reach the majestic Iguazú Falls, where you can wander along the footbridges and take in the stunning vistas that await. The scenery is simply breathtaking!

At 4 PM, we will return to the bus station in Ciudad del Este, initiating our journey back to Asunción. Expect to be dropped off at your hotel around midnight.

Tour Choices

While booking, you can select between options with or without lunch. If you opt for lunch, your meal will include a starter, main course, and dessert.

Additionally, you have the choice to participate in the day trip with or without hotel pickup. If you select the more economical option that excludes pickup, you will need to make your own way to the bus terminal in Asunción.

Types of Transport

Transfers between the bus terminal in Asunción and Ciudad del Este use the regular bus service, accompanied by a guide.

All other transfers, including pickups from hotels and the transportation to various points throughout the day trip from Ciudad del Este, utilize private vehicles.
