Ybycui National Park and La Rosada Museum Adventure

We commence our journey at 8 am with a pick-up from your accommodation in Asunción, setting off for a two-hour drive to our destination.

Upon arrival at Ybycui National Park, an area encompassing over 5000 hectares of subtropical rainforest, we will embark on a hiking trail that showcases the park's abundant wildlife.

As we navigate through the various paths, you will encounter stunning streams and waterfalls featuring crystal-clear water; there will even be opportunities for a refreshing swim! A stop is planned for you to relax and enjoy a snack or lunch, immersed in the tranquil surroundings of nature.

Once rejuvenated, we will proceed to explore the La Rosada Museum, situated within the park. Here, we will delve into the history of this former iron foundry, which suffered destruction during the War of the Triple Alliance. This establishment, one of the pioneering metal industries in America, was reconstructed based on its original designs and is now a National Monument.

After this enriching historical experience, we will head back to Asunción, arriving at your hotel by 4 pm.
