Day Excursion to Reposo del Yhaguy

We will begin our journey with a pick-up from your Asunción hotel at 8 am, setting off through the vibrant landscapes of the Valenzuela region.

Our route will take us through various towns renowned for their exquisite textile crafts. We will make a stop in Itauguá, where you can admire intricate creations made from ñandutí, alongside lace and canvas products, including clothing and linens.

Next, we will head to Ypacaraí, famous for its picturesque lake. Here, around mid-morning, you will have the chance to enjoy breakfast at the Hotel Del Lago. Once you are recharged, we will proceed to Caacupé to visit the splendid Basilica of Our Lady of Caacupé, the revered patron saint of Paraguay.

After our time in Caacupé, we will arrive at Reposo del Yhaguy, a charming hotel complex positioned along the serene Yhaguy stream. Known for its crystal-clear waters, it serves as an idyllic setting for your relaxation. You will have ample time to enjoy lunch, take a refreshing swim, appreciate the nearby waterfalls, or simply bask in the sun while surrounded by nature’s tranquility.

At the end of the day, we will depart from Reposo del Yhaguy and return you to your hotel in Asunción, with an expected arrival time of around 8 pm.
