Highlights of the Lake Nasser Cruise

Day 1: Aswan - Abu Simbel

At the arranged time, we will pick you up from your Aswan hotel and head towards the stunning shores of Abu Simbel. Upon arrival at the temple area, you will board a cozy cruise ship anchored close by, enjoying a delightful lunch on board to revitalize your spirit.

After lunch, a guided exploration of the temples of Abu Simbel and Nefertari awaits. Discover the magnificent legacy of Pharaoh Ramses II as you delve into its historical significance. You will then have some leisure time until dinner, which will be served on the cruise ship.

Day 2: Lake Nasser

We begin the second day with a hearty breakfast in the ship's dining area as we navigate towards the ancient stronghold of Qasr Ibrim. Here, we will uncover the rich history of this crucial fortress and visit the adjacent Temple of Amada, known as the oldest temple in Nubia. Our itinerary includes stops at the Temple of Derr and the tomb of Penut, tied to a prominent governor during Ramses IV's reign. Following these informative excursions, lunch will be served on board as we continue our voyage on Lake Nasser.

Day 3: Lake Nasser

On the third day, we will dock near the enchanting ruins of Wadi el Sebowa. This Nubian enclave offers a unique opportunity to delve into the rich history of Ancient Egypt, allowing you to explore the temples of Dakka and Mahrakka. These ancient sites feature links to Thoth, the Egyptian deity representing wisdom, writing, music, and magic. Our day culminates with an exquisite culinary experience onboard as we sail back toward Aswan.

Day 4: Lake Nasser - Aswan

On our final day, witness the stunning sunrise over southern Egypt while enjoying breakfast on board, taking in views of the Aswan Dam. After a refreshing meal, we will disembark to explore the island of Kalabsha’s temples. Here, you will have the chance to unlock the mysteries surrounding the Temple of Kertasi, dedicated to the enchanting goddess Isis. The guided tour will conclude, leading us back to your hotel in Aswan.

Upon arrival in the city, you can choose to savor lunch at one of the many restaurants featuring traditional North African dishes. Alternatively, if your flight is within three hours, we can assist with your transfer to Aswan airport for a smooth check-in experience.

What to Expect from the Cruise Ship

Your five-day journey on Lake Nasser will take place aboard the Nubian Sea or a comparable vessel.

Pricing Details

• The listed price is per person in a double cabin. Solo travelers will incur an additional fee.
• A booking for three guests will be placed in a double room with an extra bed. Should the third person require a separate room, a single supplement will apply.

All-Inclusive Package

This comprehensive package covers everything: air-conditioned transportation, accommodations, meals (breakfasts, lunches, and dinners), guides, excursions, entrance fees (with the exception of Tutankhamun's Tomb).

In contrast, other service providers may not include all expenses, resulting in a final cost that could be twice as high, making accurate comparisons challenging.

Pickup Information

We offer complimentary pickup from hotels, hostels, and apartments located in Aswan.

If your accommodation is situated on any of the specified islands, pickup will occur at the following designated meeting points:

• For those staying on West Aswan Island (Gharb Aswan), you will be picked up at the West Bank Ferry Terminal.
• If you are on Elephantine Island (Guizirit Alfantin), your pickup will be at the KFC restaurant on Kornish Al Nile or at the Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.
• For guests on Suhil Island (Guizirit Suhil), pickup is also at the West Bank Ferry Terminal.

Please note that if your hotel or boat is outside the city center or not listed among the islands mentioned, you will need to reach one of the indicated meeting points.

Important: Pre-Cruise Accommodation in Aswan

This Lake Nasser cruise is available exclusively on Fridays, with hotel pickups commencing at 10 am on that day. To ensure a timely pickup, we recommend staying overnight in Aswan on Thursday. Please be aware that the cost of accommodation in Aswan for the night before is not included in the cruise price.

If you plan to arrive in Aswan on Friday, there is a significant risk of missing your pickup and being unable to join the cruise.

Seasonal Availability

During peak periods, such as from December 20 to January 2 (Christmas) and Easter, cancellations will not result in refunds.

Child Accompaniment and Pricing

The discounted rate for children applies only when sharing a room with two adults.
