This day excursion to Delphi from Athens invites you to explore one of the most renowned cities of antiquity. Its archaeological site, a quintessential symbol of Greece, offers an exceptional insight into the nation’s mythology and historical significance.

Details of the Day Trip

We'll commence our journey by picking you up at the designated meeting point in Athens before heading towards Delphi. This UNESCO World Heritage site boasts the illustrious Temple of Apollo, a key attraction.

During our drive, we'll pass through Boeotia and Thebes without any stops, making a brief halt in Livadeia for restroom breaks or to grab a coffee. After approximately three hours on the road from Athens, we will arrive in Delphi, historically referred to as "the center of the world."

Once arrived, our visit will span 2.5 hours, during which we'll explore the Monument to the Kings of Argos, the Treasury, and the renowned Temple of Apollo. Additionally, we’ll tour the Archaeological Museum to admire masterpieces such as the famous Charioteer of Delphi.

Following our exploration, you will have 1.5 hours of free time to enjoy lunch. Once revitalized, we will resume our return to Athens, arriving back at the meeting point approximately 10 hours after the initial pickup.

You will be picked up at the scheduled time from the New Hotel, situated at Filellinon 16, Athina 105 57, Greece.

Participants will benefit from an audio guide throughout the site visit and the assistance of an English-speaking tour helper during the transportation.

Audio-Guided Tour at 8:15 am

This alternative includes a pickup at Athanasiou Diakou 26, Athina 117 43, Greece, at the scheduled time.

Like the previous option, this tour provides an audio guide for the site visit along with an English-speaking tour assistant on the vehicle.

Important: Neither audio-guided option includes lunch or admission fees. Entry tickets cost 20EUR for adults and should be reserved for the 1 pm to 2 pm time slot. EU citizens aged under 25 and non-EU citizens under 18 can enter free with valid ID presented at the ticket desk. Adults over 65 receive a 50% discount.
