Priority Access Tickets

Over 20,000 visitors throng the Acropolis each day. Securing a ticket in advance allows you to bypass the lengthy lines at the ticket counter. However, please be advised that a wait at the security checkpoint is still necessary to enter the site.

EU residents under 25 and non-EU individuals under 18 eligible for a discount on regular entrance will need to pay the full price for this entry ticket, similar to all accompanying family members. Entry is granted only after completing the security checkpoint.

Operating Hours

Opening hours for the Acropolis of Athens are as follows:

• April 1 to September 15: 8 am to 7:30 pm
• September 15 to September 30: 8 am to 7 pm
• October 1 to October 15: 8 am to 6:30 pm
• October 16 to October 31: 8 am to 6 pm
• November 1 to March 31: 8 am to 5 pm

• This ticket includes general admission at the adult rate and is applicable for all ages. EU citizens aged under 25 and non-EU citizens under 18 will be granted free entry upon showing their ID at the ticket counter. Adults aged over 65 receive a 50% discount solely at the ticket office or via the Acropolis website.
• Entry operates on a time slot basis, and availability at the ticket office for your preferred time cannot be guaranteed. We encourage early booking of the complimentary tickets on the Acropolis website to secure your entrance.
• Access is permitted only within the selected time frame, allowing a grace period of 15 minutes before or after the scheduled time.
• Individuals classified as disabled can enter free of charge with the presentation of their disability certificate at the ticket office.
