Embark on a comprehensive day tour of Classical Greece, exploring the Corinth Canal, Epidaurus, and Mycenae. This journey will immerse you in the rich history and cultural heritage of the Argolis peninsula.
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we will gather at Athanasiou Diakou Street, number 26, setting off toward the Corinth Canal. Here, a brief stop will allow us to admire one of engineering's remarkable achievements.
Afterward, we will proceed to the Argolid region, home to Mycenae, one of the pivotal hubs of ancient Greek civilization. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the archaeological site that was once the legendary kingdom of Agamemnon, evoking the vivid imagery of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey.
Our visit will include significant landmarks like the Lion's Gate and the Tomb of Agamemnon. We will then travel to Nafplion, the first capital of modern Greece. Here, you'll enjoy 1.5 hours of leisure time for lunch and to wander the picturesque town. Take a moment to appreciate the formidable Palamidi fortress and the Bourtzi castle. Afterwards, stroll through the delightful streets of the town center.
Once you've recharged, we will set out for Epidaurus, the legendary birthplace of Asclepius, the deity associated with healing. The highlight of this location is undoubtedly the Epidaurus Theater. For those who prefer not to partake in the guided tour, you will have one hour of free time while the guided members explore the site.
As the day concludes, we will return to Athens, with an anticipated arrival time of 10 hours after our initial departure.

During your booking, you can opt for a package that includes lunch in Nafplion. The meal features two courses of traditional Greek cuisine and dessert, though beverages will not be included.

Please be aware that admission to Epidaurus is not included in the tour price. To guarantee your access for the day of the tour, we recommend securing your tickets ahead of time through the official website.
Admission is complimentary for the following groups:
- Children and youth under 25 from the EU with valid identification or passport, confirming their age and origin.
- Children under 18 from non-EU countries who present valid identification or passport verifying their age and nationality.
Moreover, individuals over 65 can benefit from a 50% discount on entry to Epidaurus, applicable when purchasing tickets on-site.
If you wish to visit Epidaurus, ensure to reserve your tickets during the specified time slot of 3 pm to 4 pm.

At 8:15 am, please arrive at the Key Tours office, located at 26, Athanasiou Diakou, Athens 11743. Please be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
The closest metro station, Acrópolis, is only a 3-minute walk away.
Ticket Info
The admission tickets to Epidaurus are not included with this tour. If you want to book your tickets in advance and ensure availability for the day of the tour, we recommend not waiting until you get to the ticket office and booking through the official website.
Please note that the tickets are available for free to the following groups:
- Children and people under 25 from EU member States, when presenting a valid identification document or passport, confirming age and country of origin.
- Children under 18 from outside the EU, when presenting a valid identification document or passport, confirming age and country of origin.
Additionally, seniors over 65 are eligible for a 50% discount to enter Epidaurus, which is applied when purchasing tickets on site.

Closure of Monuments
Please note that monuments will be closed for public holidays in Greece on January 1, March 25, April 12, May 1, December 25 and 26.
