Munich & Bavarian Alps Plane Ride
Description
Experience breathtaking views of glacial lakes, majestic peaks, and the vibrant city of Munich with our Plane Ride over Munich and the Bavarian Alps.
Flight Options
Upon booking, you can select from three diferentes options, all commencing at Augsburg Airport with an English-speaking pilot. Below are the specifics for each flight choice:
45-Minute Flight
This option allows you to witness the key landmarks of Munich from the sky. Our journey will take us over the Allianz Arena, the English Garden, the German Museums, Marienplatz, Munich Cathedral, Munich Residenz, and Nymphenburg Palace. Furthermore, we’ll glide past the BMW Welt museum and Olympiapark.
Subsequently, we’ll navigate towards the Bavarian Alps, where spectacular views of Starnberg, Ammer, Pilsen, and Wörth lakes await. The flight concludes with a scenic view of Andechs Abbey in Upper Bavaria.
1 Hour and 15-Minute Flight
If you wish to extend your aerial adventure over Munich and the Bavarian Alps, this option is perfect for you. Following the aerial exploration of the aforementioned sites in Munich, we will venture to the Upper Bavarian lakes, where notable lakes such as Würmtal, Stanberger, Oster, Rieg, Staffel, Kochel, Walchen, Eib, Forggen, Hopfen, Ammer, Pilsen, and Lake Wörth await your discovery.
Next, we’ll soar to the Bavarian Alps, taking in the stunning vistas of Herzogstand, Benediktenwand, and Zugspitze mountains, along with the picturesque towns of Garmisch and Hohenpeißenberg.
To top off this flight, we will pivot to one of the country’s most iconic landmarks: the remarkable Neuschwanstein Castle, elegantly set above the Pöllat Gorge, alongside Andechs Abbey.
1 Hour and 45-Minute Flight
This option is ideal for those looking to see as much as possible while soaring over both Munich and the Bavarian Alps. In addition to the sights covered previously, we’ll fly over all the lakes found across Upper Bavaria. Our Alpine adventure continues as we visit Kampenwand, Wilder Kaiser, Wendelstein, Brauneck, Benediktenwand, and the Zugspitze, the pinnacle of Germany.
Along the way, you’ll also witness some of Germany’s most stunning historical sites, including Herrenchiemsee Castle and Fraueninsel Island, as well as the notable Neuschwanstein Castle and Andechs Abbey.
