Are you eager to experience the essence of the Portuguese Venice? Your journey begins at the Cais dos Botirões, where we'll welcome you aboard a traditional moliceiro, which bears a resemblance to the iconic gondolas of Venice. Are you ready to glide along the main canal of Aveiro?

This 45-minute boating experience will unveil captivating views of the alluring Art Nouveau architecture lining the banks. Are you curious about the tales hidden behind each balcony? We will share fascinating stories as we navigate beneath renowned bridges, including the notable Praça General Humberto Delgado.

As we cruise, be sure to take in the monument A Salineira, honoring the women of the salt industry who contributed to its legacy. From the water, the historic fishermen's market and the former salt warehouses will also come into view.

After our delightful boat ride, we will return to the city and make our way to the Estação Ferroviária de Aveiro. Here, we will board the sightseeing train, setting off towards the city center for an engaging journey filled with insights!

During the train ride, we will pass by the striking University of Aveiro, a notable 20th-century architectural achievement with an impressive area of 227 acres (92 hectares). Next, we will visit the Cathedral of Aveiro, also recognized as the Church of St. Dominic, distinguished by its Mannerist architectural style and prominent Solomonic columns.

Continuing on, we will encounter the historic Jerónimo Pereira Campos ceramic factory, an exemplar of early 20th-century industrial architecture. Don't miss the enchanting structure of the train station, adorned with traditional Portuguese tiles and a delightful facade in soft blue tones, reflecting local life.
