Immerse yourself in the genuine everyday life of Bangkok by exploring two distinctive local markets: witness the vibrant floating stalls at Damnoen Saduak and the unique shopping experience along the train tracks at the Railway Market.

Tour Overview

At the specified time, we will gather at the designated meeting point or your hotel in Bangkok. Our journey will then commence towards the charming town of Mae Klong, which hosts one of the most intriguing attractions in the Bangkok region: the renowned railway market.

After a drive of 1.5 hours, we will arrive at this extraordinary market, where the shopping experience is beautifully timed with the train schedule. Here, vendors position their stalls at the very edge of the railway tracks, with some even directly on the tracks, showcasing fresh fruits, handmade textiles, and a variety of goods. As a train approaches, both sellers and customers deftly clear the area, only to resume their activities once the train passes through—it’s a sight that must be seen!

After enjoying this fascinating glimpse of life in Bangkok, and perhaps trying some local specialities, we will resume our journey. Our next destination will be the province of Ratchaburi, where we will visit the celebrated floating market of Damnoen Saduak, a vibrant trading hub that has been in operation for over 150 years.

Here, we will board a traditional paddle boat to navigate the picturesque canals, allowing us to appreciate the market from the water. We will observe how locals trade everything from fresh produce to delicious prepared dishes, transferring goods directly from one boat to another.

Following our boat tour, you'll have some leisure time to explore the narrow streets of the town, sample regional treats, and witness daily life unfold. Don’t miss the chance to try the local coconut ice cream—it’s a delightful treat!

Eventually, we will regroup and make our way back to Bangkok, concluding our experience after approximately 7 to 8 hours.

Pickup Information

Upon booking, we will confirm the specific pickup time. If it suits you better, there's also an option for hotel pickup. Please be aware that this service is only available for accommodations located in the central areas of Satorn, Silom, Banglamphu, and Siam. Should your hotel be situated outside these zones, you will need to choose the option without pickup.

The pickup will be handled by a driver without a guide present, taking you to the nearest meeting point to connect with the rest of the group. After the tour, we will return you to the same meeting point or to one of the following locations: Banglampoo, MBK, or Hualamphong Train Station. The meeting and drop-off sites are predetermined and based on your hotel’s location.

Children Under 3

It’s important to note that children under 3 years old can join for free, but they will not have an individual seat and will need to sit on an adult's lap.
